Aaron Wright, a young entrepreneur, is providing a much-needed service in Ingersoll, Oxford County, repairing lawn and garden equipment and snowblowers. In the future he hopes to add quads and dirt bikes when he has more room for storage.
Aaron received support from Community Futures Oxford to purchase Ken’s Small Engine Repair Ltd. in Ingersoll, ON.

“Community Futures Oxford staff were incredibly knowledgeable in everything they helped me with. They are still providing me information like silent mentors,” Aaron said. His accountant encouraged him to consider CF Oxford and suggested them as the best source to secure a loan to purchase the business.
Like any business owner, Aaron has experienced challenges when business is slow but feels rewarded when he is helping the community with service and when he has a full shop of work!
He advises other entrepreneurs to keep trying and looking at other options even when they’re ready to give up. “Al Simm encouraged me and said one way or another we’ll get the loan done; we’ll explore all the options.”
Aaron would like Oxford County to know he is a friendlier, younger face eager to get to work!
