Rebecca (Becca) Neepin, since 2019

Rebecca (Becca) Neepin received a Community Futures Oxford Young Entrepreneur Grant in June 2025. Becca has owned R&Bcreeations since 2019, an Indigenous-owned business that offers custom apparel, merchandise, and workshops rooted in culture and community.

“I create everything from Every Child Matters shirts all custom personalized items with all holidays, special events, bulk order shirts, miniature drum workshops and beading workshops all with the goal of education, awareness, and connection,” Becca said.

The CF Oxford grant helped her purchase a bulk order of shirts and materials for workshops in preparation for Truth and Reconciliation March in September. CF also helped connect her with local resources.

Becca said she didn’t always picture herself as a business owner, but she has always been creative and community driven. “Over time, I realized I could merge those passions into something that not only supports my family but also builds understanding and pride in Indigenous culture.”

Operating a business can be challenging. Becca said she consults other Indigenous business owners and her family for advice and fresh ideas when challenges arise.  One thing she’s learned is that it’s okay to ask for help early on.

“Trying to do it all alone can burn you out quickly having a support system in place makes a big difference,” she said.

She said it’s rewarding seeing the pride on people’s faces when they wear something she’s made or take home something they’ve created in a workshop. “It’s about connection, healing, and celebrating culture.”

Rebecca would like Oxford County to know R&Bcreeations is about more than just products—it’s about education, reconciliation, and keeping traditions alive. Every purchase or workshop helps fund youth programs, cultural events, and community initiatives here in Oxford County.
